La Sportiva ist ein italienisches Unternehmen, dessen Wurzeln bis in die 1920er Jahre zurückreichen. Es war Narciso Delladio, der mit der Produktion von Holzschuhen und Lederschuhen für die Menschen im Fassatal und im Val di Fiemme begann. In den 1950er Jahren präsentierte er zusammen mit seinem Sohn Francesco die Marke La Sportiva, die bald zu einem bekannten Namen in der Kletterwelt wurde.
