The Trango Pro GTX by La Sportiva is a mountaineering boot developed for the most demanding climbers and mountain professionals seeking maximum safety, precision, and performance on technical and traditional routes in summer conditions. Made with next-generation materials, this boot boasts a 100% Trango Series DNA to ensure unparalleled precision during climbing, while maintaining an extremely low weight of only 640 grams per half pair. The water-repellent upper is constructed from robust high-tenacity Nylon 6,6 and features abrasion-resistant zones with HoneyComb Guard™ technology to withstand impacts against rock. Protecting the foot is the waterproof Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining, which provides a total barrier against the elements. The entry of debris and snow is blocked by the innovative La Sportiva Vortex™ elastic gaiter, made from water-repellent and abrasion-resistant fabric, equipped with a quick closure system that protects the upper lacing. Comfort and fit are optimized by the new Trango-Ergo shape, designed to adapt and wrap around various foot shapes, working in synergy with the patented 3D Flex System Evo™ joint for natural ankle mobility. Underfoot, the carbon-loaded nylon mounting insole and the shape of the boot are specifically designed to optimize progression with crampons, thanks also to the low-density polyurethane midsole equipped with a TPU insert for rear crampon attachment.
