The Women's Ascent 500 by Rab is a down sleeping bag with a female-specific fit, designed to provide reliable comfort and warmth during trekking and camping in spring conditions or cool climates. Characterized by a wide mummy shape, this model features a shorter length, narrower shoulders, and wider hips compared to the standard version to optimize thermal efficiency and freedom of movement. The 500g European duck down insulation with 650FP, treated with Nikwax fluorocarbon-free water-repellent finish, allows for a temperature limit of -5°C, maintaining high loft properties even in humid environments. The outer shell made of recycled Pertex® Quantum fabric effectively shields against the wind, while the boxwall construction with trapezoidal compartments ensures even down distribution, eliminating cold spots. The technical features include a three-dimensional shaped thermal collar, a 3/4 YKK zip with insulated draft tube, and a spacious foot area for a natural resting posture. Weighing 1025 grams and with compact packed dimensions (35x20 cm), the sleeping bag comes with an internal zip pocket, a compression sack for transport, and a cotton storage bag for home storage.
