The Women's Ascent 700 by Rab is a down sleeping bag with a specific women's fit, designed to provide warmth and protection during trekking and mountaineering in extremely cold conditions. Characterized by a wide mummy shape, this model features a shorter length, narrower shoulders, and wider hips compared to the standard version to optimize thermal efficiency and anatomical comfort. The 700g filling of European duck down 650FP, treated with Nikwax fluorocarbon-free water-repellent finish, allows for a temperature limit of -9°C, ensuring reliable performance even in humid environments. The outer shell made of recycled Pertex® Quantum fabric effectively shields against the wind, while the boxwall construction with trapezoidal compartments ensures even down distribution, eliminating cold spots. The technical features include a three-dimensional shaped thermal collar, a 3/4 YKK zip with insulated draft flap, and a spacious foot area for a natural resting posture. Weighing 1240 grams and with packed dimensions of 40x22 cm, the sleeping bag comes with an internal zip pocket for small items, a compression sack for transport, and a storage sack with a water-resistant base.
